Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Modiris Technologies OÜ, a company registered in Estonia ("Modiris", "we", "us"). For the personal data described in this policy, we are the data controller.

2. What we collect

We keep this to a minimum. We collect:

• Information you send us: when you use our contact form or email us, we receive what you provide, such as your name, email address, company, role and your message.
• Technical information: like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested when you visit. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data. This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

• To reply to your enquiry and to discuss a possible demo or collaboration. Basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• To keep the website secure and working. Basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• To meet legal obligations, such as accounting or responding to authorities. Basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf, under appropriate data processing terms:

• Google (Google Forms and email), which receives and stores contact form submissions and our email correspondence.
• Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this website.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it. Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers rely on safeguards recognised under GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up, and normally delete them within 24 months after our last contact. If we enter into a contract with you, we keep the records required by law (for example, accounting records) for the legally required period.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased, or its use restricted, in the cases the law provides;
• object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
• receive your data in a portable format, where applicable; and
• withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.

To use these rights, email rishabh@modiris.ai. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee), or to the supervisory authority in your own country.

7. Customer data in our products

This policy covers this website. When a customer uses Vidya, Ravi or a bespoke solution, the data they put into it is handled under the agreement we sign with that customer, including a data processing agreement where we act as their processor.

8. Children

This website is aimed at business users and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Links to other sites

Our contact form is hosted by Google, and this website may link to other third-party sites. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
